      Dear Colin

There are other effective medications for neuralgia besides Carbamazepine. You can discuss treatment options with a neurologist. Our contact numbers and emails are on this website.
Otherwise do email us at advancedclinicalneuroscience@gmail.com when your plans are firmed up.
      Best wishes.

I am 34 years old and on thursday I had a reactivation of my Bell’s palsy sydrome which i had when i was pregnant. This time i’m not sure what is wrong or how to deal with it. The pain is coming primarily from one vein or nerve at the back of my right ear . I cannot move the facial muscled of the right side of my face properly. Is there a way i can get healed as soon as possible through acupuncture?

      Dear Nicolle

Do consult your GP for immediate treatment. He/she may refer you onward to the neurologist if needed. Acupuncture has not been demonstrated in controlled clinical studies to be of benefit for Bell’s palsy.

      Best wishes.
